Frequently Asked Questions
Is PsychWatch premium a subscription?
No. Premium is a one-time purchase and enables premium features with no recurring subscription.
How can I delete the built-in voice commands?
PsychWatch comes with built-in voice commands as examples of the type of prompt you might want to use. Voice prompts can be edited in the settings view by either pressing and holding the voice command you want to delete, and then selecting the “Delete” option or using the swipe left gesture on the voice command to be deleted.
Why do voice commands say “Simon says” in orange?
Voice commands are a premium feature and require the one-time, premium in-app purchase to activate. We require you to say “Simon says” before each command when using the free version. This allows you to try voice commands and get an experience of how the feature works.
How do I share tests with others?
Navigate to your list of tests, either in settings or from the test selection view from the main stopwatch view. Then press and hold the test you would like to share until a menu is shown. Select “Share” from the menu, and you will be presented with options to share a file that contains the details of the test. You can select from the built-in iOS sharing options like sending it as a message, or through email.
To import a test file received from another person, first ensure the PsychWatch app is installed. Then tap on the file to be imported. If the file opens in Preview, use the link at the bottom that says “Open in PsychWatch”. The file will be open in the app and you will given the option to import the tests within the file.
Both sharing and importing tests requires premium.
Is there a version of PsychWatch for Android?
At this time, PsychWatch is available only on iOS. If we see enough demand, we might consider creating an Android version.
